You know…

I think that we need to start an Anti Raverly group. Our tagline can be something like “Crazy knitting bitches who don’t need a special invite to swap ideas about knitting.” LOL
Snarky, who me? Maybe. But it reminds me too much of a freaking sorority or clique and trust me, the world has enough of those. That’s what I think. *nods* Yup.

Uh uh. I completely understand feeling like being on the wrong side of the candy store window. But when Ravelry is out of beta, everyone gets in (unlike a sorority) and it truly is a genius of a resource for knitters. I used it twice yesterday at Rae’s in order to show customers what a certain yarn will look like knit up. I’m using it to screen patterns and see if I really want to make that item. The Knitterpalooza forum got us a few more people who wouldn’t have heard about it otherwise, or who needed a little more convincing to come. So stop sulking and join in as soon as you can, because we need you.
Also, about your haircut….the Douglas J place in E. Lansing…next to B&N….last time I was there, a haircut was only $15. And no tipping! Also, Excel on Clippert St is only $8.
Yeah, what Sharon said.
Kinda hard to form a 20,000 member clique… don’t knock it til you’ve tried it.
I do like the ability to get project ideas and tips really easily. I think you’ll probably like it when you try it…
ANYWAY - you won the pink mug and pink yarn in my contest! Congrats. Let me know your mailing address…
I hope I didn’t sound harsh. I just don’t want you to throw away the baby with the bath water. You were quiet today and I worried that I had offended you.
