I finished my HP socks… whoot! The three needle bind off method was SO much easier than that weird chimney method Lucy described in her book as her preferred bind off. I’m SO glad these socks are done and they look good.
They’re purposely not “perfect” in matching up the stripes, because I don’t believe in doing that.

Ironically, I was watching Mr. Potter himself (aka Daniel Radcliffe) on Conan O’Brien while I finished the last sock. What a freaking cutie. I can’t WAIT to see the movie… but of course I have to because I’m not going without Shawn. Therefore, Sunday when I get home from Florida, we’re off to the movies… wee!

The socks are going to Animal Kingdom with us for some photo opps… hehe
~ Edit ~
Now that the socks have been sent and received by my pal, I can show some of the pictures that I sent in an album for her.

Great socks – I always believe unmatching socks are better – I’m biased in the faternal way of course
BTW – I just ordered the whole HP book series – you and Emily are such enablers!
I’m all for asymmetry, no matching socks for me.
Hi Kellie
Love the socks- I enjoy reading your blog coz it encourages me to pull out my knitting needles.
